Rules of Engagement ...

Gone are the days when engagement pictures have to look just so. Beautiful lush backgrounds and smiling, happy couples are still gorgeous, but having the opportunity to photograph a couple who just want to play--that's priceless. Photoshoots like Nick and Loren remind me of how blessed I am to do what I do. It was such a freeing feeling to to be able to try just about anything, like we did last night. Personality of the couple definitely comes into play. They have to work well together and allow each other the freedom to be themselves and what you get as the end product is amazing. Happy Belated Easter

Sometimes my own kids pictures are, unfortunately, the last images I edit! But, I got a couple here for you to check out. Aren't they the cutest kids ever? (except for yours I mean) Hope you had a wondefully blessed Easter. Our family did and the egg hunt was, as always, a great photo op.

Photographer sets record for longest hike to shoot location!

I think we officially logged about 3 miles up and back, but it was well worth it! Just when you think you're so tired, there was a tremendously steep hill to slide down. Of course, I'm the one who found the loose spot and slid down a little faster than I intended. Anything for the shot!
